October - and Mom's Photography Challenge

It's getting to be fall here in Washington DC.  The weather is getting cool and the leaves are turning color.

I hate two things about fall.  Sweaters and Halloween costumes.

Yesterday, my mom went to Petco. I was scared that she was going to come back with a costume.  But she said I don't have to wear a costume this year!  Instead... she bought me a new spider toy!

My mom is starting a photography challenge today.  She will be taking  a different picture every day according to this list.

I told her she could post her pictures on my blog every day if she wanted.  Here is Day 1: Self-Portrait

She said that she didn't want to take an actual picture of herself because she was coming back from a run and didn't feel pretty.  Instead, she decided to take advantage of her Japanese doors in her apartment and take a silhouette.  Not perfect, but it was fun to take!
